Your Garden in Watercolour

At Garden Portraits, I enjoy private commissions from clients to illustrate their gardens in watercolour as a landscape plan from an aerial perspective. Each illustration is unique and handcrafted in traditional pen and ink and finished in watercolour. My clients are looking for a special record of their own urban space, country garden, vineyard or special garden feature.

The process begins with a visit to your garden where I walk the boundaries and record to scale details such as buildings, tree canopies, pathways and garden beds on paper. Armed with this information, I return to my studio to create the finished illustration to the size specified by the client.

Because each illustration is tailored to the clients brief, additional elements such as house elevations, locality landscapes and favourite pets can be included to further personalise the artwork.

I have been commissioned for my distinctive illustrations by clients in the NSW Southern Highlands, Sydney, Canberra and Orange in the Central West of NSW.
